Which facial is right for my skin type?
Both the Golden Hour Repair Facial and the Deluxe Facial come in six variants: sensitive skin and sun relief, brightening and pigmentation, acne calming and skin smoothing, hydration, pore care and deep cleansing, and Gua Sha. Your therapist selects the right one during your consultation, so you do not need to decide before you arrive.
What is cosmetic acupuncture and does it hurt?
Cosmetic acupuncture uses very fine needles placed across the face and neck, combined with a bespoke facial, over a 120-minute session. The needles are far thinner than those used for injections, and most clients describe the sensation as a brief pinprick or nothing at all. It is carried out by a practitioner registered with the British Acupuncture Council.
How many facial sessions will I need?
A single facial leaves skin feeling refreshed straight away. Most clients choose a course of three sessions for cumulative results, which is why every treatment is offered as a three-session package. Sessions do not need to be consecutive, so you can space them at whatever pace suits you.
How long do the results of a facial last?
This varies with skin type, age and lifestyle. Many clients tell us their skin feels hydrated and looks brighter for one to two weeks after a single facial. A course of three sessions followed by a maintenance treatment every four to six weeks tends to hold the effect for longer.
Can I have a facial if I am pregnant or have sensitive skin?
Sensitive skin is well catered for — one of the six facial variants is designed specifically for sensitive and sun-exposed skin. If you are pregnant, have a diagnosed skin condition, or are using prescribed skin medication, please tell us when you book so we can adapt the treatment or advise you beforehand.
What should I do before and after my facial?
Arrive with a clean face if you can, and avoid strong exfoliants or retinoids for two days beforehand. Afterwards keep your routine simple — gentle cleansing, moisturiser and SPF. You will be given personalised home-care advice at the end of every session.
